Hi Dave,

I am deeply honored and humbled to have my book "Stepping Off the Mat" listed with such highly regarded books. I really appreciate the vote of confidence you give by mentioning it. By the way, you are becoming quite a writer yourself. You may have to consider a collaboration of your blogs and/or writings for a formal publication.

OK, don't laugh... I highly recomend the Usagi Yojinbo series of comic books. This won't enhance your training or connect you spiritually to anything but they may just make you wish you were a samurai bunny. FWIW, they have really good stories that give a great if idealized image of samurai culture.

I read the last 2 books and agree with your assessment of both of them. I enjoyed Angry White Pajamas for what it was, but Heckler's book got on my nerve - he seems like he has a lot to prove. I haven't read the first one - I'll have to check it out.
